Welcome to the official website of the Muslim Graduation Ceremony of Southern California.  This event is endorsed by the Islamic Shura Council of Southern California.

Every year for the past nine years, the Islamic Center of Riverside has been hosting a Muslim Graduation Ceremony and Dinner open to all Muslim graduates in the area.  The event welcomes and invites students from all graduate levels (High School, College & Graduate Level) from Orange County, the Inland Empire, and Los Angeles County to participate and apply for scholarships.

In 2009, Orange County hosted its 1st annual graduation ceremony for Muslim students of all graduate levels.  The event was hosted by Islamic Institute of Orange County in their multi-purpose room.  InFocus and OC Register covered the event. To read the InFocus article,

In 2010,  the Islamic Society of Orange County and the Islamic Center of Riverside came together to host the 8th Annual Muslim Graduation Ceremony that was open to graduates of both Orange County and Riverside County.

In 2011, the Muslim Graduation Committee held their 9th Annual Scholarship and Graduation Ceremony at the Knott's Berry Farm Hotel for all Muslim graduates in the Inland Empire, Orange County and Los Angeles County.

This year, the Muslim Community and the Muslim Graduation Committee will be hosting their 10th Annual Scholarship and Graduation Ceremony on USC's campus. This event is open to ALL Muslim graduates in Orange County, the Inland Empire and Los Angeles County.  This event is free of charge and it is open to all graduate levels(High School, College & Graduate Level).  We are very excited for this event, as it will bring (Insha’Allah) unity amongst the Muslims in the surrounding counties.

We will be offering over $18,500 in scholarships to the graduates this year. For a list of all available scholarships and guidelines please click on the
Scholarships tab. To download the Scholarship Application click on the Forms tab

If you are graduating this year from High School, College or Grad School and are interested in being recognized on stage as a Muslim graduate and possibly winning a scholarship, please contact us for more information.

Help us spread the word to all Muslim graduates in Los Angeles, Riverside and Orange Counties.
